Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Department was established in the year 2009. It is one of the founding department of the institution.Harnessing electrical energy is the challenge for electrical engineers. The power packed EEE department inspires the budding Electrical Engineers with the potent idea of constructing Generating Stations, Transmission Lines and Distribution Systems at economic rates and to design, test and supervise the manufacture of Electrical and Electronic equipments used in electrical utilities, buildings, automobiles, air-crafts, radar, navigation system and broadcast and communication systems.

Electrical engineering is considered to deal with the problems associated with large- scale electrical systems such as power transmission and motor control, whereas electronic engineering deals with the study of small-scale electronic systems including computers and integrated circuits. Alternatively, Electrical engineers are usually concerned with using electricity to transmit energy, while electronic engineers are concerned with using electricity to process information. More recently, the distinction has become blurred by the growth of power electronics.

To produce accomplished engineers through eminence education and become a recognized center of excellence in academics, research and technological services in the area of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and related inter-disciplinary fields.

1. To facilitate the students to work with modern tools, state of art technologies, innovative research capabilities besides inculcating leadership abilities.
2. To instigate students for propensity to research and innovation by exposing them to industry and societal needs to creating solutions for contemporary problems.
3. To prepare the students professionally skillful, intellectually proficient and socially responsible.
